Navid Tschopp was born in Iran under the name of Navid Sadrosadat and has been living in Switzerland, where he studied art and architecture, for the past 25 years. His work, which uses different media, ranges from illustrative to conceptual to situational, and has been shown in numerous collective and solo exhibitions. He's also been working on several public art projects, mostly in the form of temporary interventions to transform or question existing spaces.Navid has received grants and fellowships worldwide and he is currently an artist-in-residence at Pro Helvetia in New Delhi.
