The Art of Motorcycling
Saturday 13 March – Sunday 14

On the weekend of March 13th/14th, W+K Exp hosted a two-day exhibition that celebrated The Art of Motorcycling. It was a weekend dedicated to the religion that is the Enfield motorcycle. Motorcycle exhibits ranged from the brand new Classic 500 to an exotic variety of more than 20 customized Enfields, ranging from classic looks, to racing bikes to outright show bikes to take your breath away. Art exhibits included photography by renowned fine arts photographer Bharat Sikka and digital art by the Indian art world's rising star, Prasad Raghavan. As a special treat, the Battle Green Classic 500 Export model was here on display.

Prints of the artwork were available for purchase, as well as beautifully styled range of limited edition T-shirts, created especially for the occasion and some classic Enfield merchandise.

To add some industrial art to the mix, master painter Kishore from the Royal Enfield factory in Chennai was there to demonstrate his phenomenal tank-painting skills. Participants also got a chance to interact with Enfield's Head of Product Design. Additional attractions included test rides on the brand new Classic 500 motorcycles, hand-painted helmets from luxury brand GOACHIC and cold beer, courtesy of Budweiser.

With over 1200 people walking through the doors over the two days, the energy went from relaxed to electric and back again (as you can see from the pictures below). This was the first show, but given the phenomenal response, you can be sure it won't be the last!
